As a group we discussed what name we felt was appropriate for our star and our chosen genre. Dance/House stars have quiet simplistic names and therefore, we decided to shorten my surname 'Thomas' to 'Tomi'. We felt it was unique and would be something easy for the spectator to remember. This will also be incorporated in our music video.
From the research I have undertaken about female artists within this genre, I have found that font style is simplistic and bold. The name of the star is then followed by the track/album name on the album art. I researched simple fonts on 'DaFont'. These are some of the fonts I like and will use for my digipak. My favourite is 'Droidigs' as it is simplistic yet has modern/urban feel to it. I will place it central of my album cover as this follows the conventions of the dance/house genre.
