My Influence for my website was my target audience and previous established artist examples that I have analysed. The social media platform 'Tumblr' is extremely popular with females between the ages of 14-24. Visually online it is exciting and allowed people to create profiles to show photo collages/montages. This is what inspired me to have the moving slideshow below the navigation header. I incorporated both the images, a news feed and sign up box to this page. There will also be a sign up box that appears 5 seconds after entering the site. I also found many artists have a free download of their first track, so they can share this and gain further promotion through legal means. I felt this was necessary to add to my sign up box.
