As I am the artist within my groups music video, I undertook some research into female performance. I watched leading female artists Jessie J, Beyoncé, Iggy Azalea and Nicki Minaj on youtube to look at their performances. I found that all used certain sexualised dance moves to entice the spectator visually but also to exert their power. I will keep this mind in the dance routine but also when free styling on camera.
